Recommendations -
If you are cleaning a coin simply covered with soft dirt, begin with the fiberglass pencil tip as it will not damage the patina.
For tougher incrustations, insert the carbon tip into the pen. but do not apply too much pressure and allow the tool to do the work.
Always attempt to use tiny circular motions while cleaning.
Both tips are suitable for use on wet or dry surfaces and work best when kept sharp.
As seen, our precision pencils are available in 3 configurations: carbon and fiberglass tip; brass needle and brass scalpel; and brass brush. We sell all configurations in our store, and we also sell refills for all the precision pencil sets.
