6-Pack of Conservator Le Crayon a Gratter Precision Pencil with Brass Brush
The precision pencils are available in 3 configurations: carbon and fiberglass tip; brass needle and brass scalpel; and brass brush. We sell all configurations in our store, and we also sell refills for all the precision pencil sets.
Try to use a circular motion while cleaning.
Do not apply too much pressure on the tip in order to avoid damaging the coin or relics.
Do not apply on a wet coin or object as it may damage the patina.
The harder the tip is, the better it will get rid of hard deposits and dirt.
The best tool to get rid of the crust is the scalpel; when you reach the surface of the object, use a softer/more accurate tool such as a hard tip or brush.
If you have to clean a coin with a patina, use the fiberglass tip or a wood pencil with fiberglass tip, as it will not damage the patina.
- The Le Crayon a Gratter Precision Pencil caters to both beginners and advanced cleaners, providing great efficiency and speed for serious cleaning tasks.
- Outperforming classic wooden pencils, this precision pencil offers much more accuracy, making it the go-to versatile cleaning tool.
- The included brass brush is perfect for wiping off the first layer of dirt. Use it gently to avoid scratches.
- For optimal results, consider changing the tip as soon as you narrow down to the surface of the coin or artifact.
- This set includes a precision pencil and a brass brush. Enjoy efficient and accurate cleaning for a variety of surfaces.
